Introduction

Our proud country has advanced over the years from the hard work and legacies of our great ancestors. It is now Nepal’s time to honour the work of Upendra Devkota, and ensure his outstanding contributions are taken forward for generations to come.

Our Inaugural event

In January 2023, the Upendra Devkota Foundation hosted our first event; a health camp in Gorkha, echoing Upendra’s beginnings. Begining our story where his story began.  Our services also included free physiotherapy, nursing assistance as well as free medication.

Healthcamp in Partnership with The Red cross

Our health camp in Chitwan, Chanauli, in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, offered 9 medical specialty services including: Neurology, Neurosurgery, Radiology, ENT, Internal medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology & Optometry, Dentistry

Neurocon
The Inception and Evolution of Neurosciences in Nepal

NeuroCon, Nepal’s inaugural international scientific symposium, held on June 18th, 2023. The event was held commemorating Prof. Upendra Devkota’s legacy on his 5th death anniversary. The event, organized by UDF, brought together international delegates to bridge gaps and the most recently discovered knowledge on neurology, neurointervention, neurosurgery, neuro-physiotherapy, and neuro-nursing, featuring practical skill sessions and fostering global collaboration in advancing neurocare.
